Liberal left apologists, upon hearing of Uranium One, are now attempting to cover up this evidence of real Russian collusion involving their most recent Presidential candidate.
Their 11 month investigation into Trump and Russia has produced no evidence but they are mighty quick to jump to the aid of the real Russian collusionists- Hillary and Bill.
Suddenly, there are valid excuses and explanations for a deal that placed all of us under threat from the unregulated loss of this dangerous military asset to the wrong people.
Some are now making claims that uranium cannot leave the country because it is regulated by several independent government agencies such as the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Well, guess what? It already has.
There are already been documented incidents of Uranium One yellow cake being exported to Canada. as noted in the link below:
Grab the pdf document from the US Nuclear Commission about the incident by clicking here:
These are excerpts from a news story about drums of yellow cake uranium coming from a Uranium One plant in Wyoming and being delivered to Canada…another country. Reported because they were improperly packed and caused harm to three unprotected workers as follows:
“Three Cameco workers in Ontario were exposed to airborne uranium dust in an incident at the Saskatchewan company’s Blind River refinery last month, federal regulators say.
The exposure happened June 23 when a worker loosened a ring clamp on a 208-litre drum of uranium oxide yellowcake. The lid
blew off and about 26 kilograms of the material were ejected into the air.
The worker closest to the drum and two others in the area, who were not wearing respirators, were exposed to the dust.
The drum of yellowcake came from Uranium One’s Willow Creek facility in Wyoming.
According to the U.S. government, several other Uranium One drums that had been shipped to Blind River were found to be bulging from internal pressure………Mr. Christensen, 65, noted that despite assurances by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that uranium could not leave the country without Uranium One or ARMZ obtaining an export license — which they do not have — yellowcake from his property was routinely packed into drums and trucked off to a processing plant in Canada.
Note: “routinely packed and shipped”
It should also be pointed out that the organization mentioned above ARMZ is a Russian holding company which clearly acknowledges on their online site:
In 2013, taking into consideration the situation on the world natural uranium market, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. completed a transaction to acquire a 100% stake in Uranium One Inc.Under the terms of the agreement, all of Uranium One Inc. common shares, which JSC Atomredmetzoloto and its affiliates did not own at that moment, were purchased. In accordance with the decision made by ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation, management of uranium assets located abroad was entrusted to Uranium One Holding N.V.
Since December 2013, JSC Atomredmetzoloto has been in charge of the Russian uranium mining assets
.
So much for any claims that this event never happened or is only conspiracy “theory”. It obviously ain’t theory. See my previous post on this issue from July 2017 for how the transfer to Rosatom happened.
The story also goes on to further state:
“Asked about that, the commission confirmed that Uranium One has, in fact, shipped yellowcake to Canada even though it does not have an export license. Instead, the transport company doing the shipping, RSB Logistic Services, has the license.
A commission spokesman said that “to the best of our knowledge” most of the uranium sent to Canada for processing was returned for use in the United States.
A Uranium One spokeswoman, Donna Wichers, said 25 percent had gone to Western Europe and Japan. At the moment, with the uranium market in a downturn, nothing is being shipped from the Wyoming mines.”
Note: The hedge “to the best of our knowledge”
The fact is, once the uranium leaves the country, our regulatory agencies have lost control of it. So much for the liberal assumption that the government is controlling land whose mining rights are controlled by Russian State owned Rosatom.
If it left our nation, as acknowledged by the NRC in their documentation, it quite obviously can be moved anywhere from there.
What happens once it leaves the U.S. is beyond our government’s control. This, of course, poses a threat to all of our citizens and even nations beyond our own.
Some liberals claim that it went to nations that pose no threat to us like Canada, Japan and Western Europe. A specious argument without merit to say the least.
As previously noted, once it leaves our country, the NRC has lost control of where it goes. They can speculate and hope, but they cannot guarantee which is why the hedge “to the best of my knowledge” is the best they can offer in defense.
However to claim Western Europe as not a threat ignores current reality. As recent events have demonstrated, Western Europe with its rampant Middle Eastern immigration has connection to many threats to our and other nations national security. Nothing threatening there like ISIS and terrorists committing acts of terror huh with guns, knives, cars, trucks etc. NIce group of pals huh? Western Europe is far from being a safe destination to say the least.
Once that uranium reached Western Europe (or wherever it actually went as we cannot definitely assure of where it went after the NRC lost control of it), it could quite easily ended up in the hands of a terrorist organization. There is no definitive assurance otherwise.
The fact is, the uranium mining rights to 20% of our uranium stores were sold to Russia thanks to the manipulations of insiders of which Bill and Hillary were big players and profited admirably to boot. All this Russia collusion drumbeat when the most obvious and dangerous case of it ran for the Democrats in the last election.
The real Russian collusionists like Moeller and his pals are now conducting the investigation which is kind of like O.J.’s investigation into the death of Nicole Simpson. A specious decision at best and one likely to produce the same results a dog gets when it chases its tail.
Now our national supply of a strategic military asset like uranium has been compromised placing all of us in danger of it getting into the wrong hands once it leaves the country. Well, facts demonstrate that it already has. The likelihood is that it will continue to do so as long as this Clinton led collusion is permitted to stand.
