As the nearly year old, Trump Russian collusion wears thin, more details surface about the Clinton Uranium One Russian collusion. A deal that put $145 Million into the Clinton Foundation while Bill got a $500,000 Speaking Gig in Moscow. Putin and Moscow meanwhile acquired 20% of our domestic uranium reserves. Control which continues into the present time.
A Clinton spokesman claims the Uranium One deal is simply a distraction from the guilt of Donald Trump with Russia except that 11 of the 13 largest fees (all over $500,000) paid to Bill Clinton, years after he left office, came after Hillary became Secretary of State.
A spokesman for Secretary Clinton said Thursday the continued focus on the Uranium One deal smacked of partisan politics aimed at benefiting Donald Trump.“At every turn this story line has been debunked on the merits. Its roots are with a project shepherded by Steve Bannon, which should tell you all you need to know,” said Nick Merrill. “This latest iteration is simply more of the right doing Trump’s bidding for him to distract from his own Russia problems, which are real and a grave threat to our national security.
The problem with this statement however is that Moscow was one those high paid speaking fees which happened during the time the Uranium One deal was under review at the State Department. Ignoring this fact would seem a bit disingenuous as they say.
What is more is that previous to this speech, the last speech Clinton gave in Russia was 5 years earlier. He was paid one third of what he was paid for the aforementioned Moscow speech.
Coincidentally, of course, during this same negotiation period, $145 Million flowed to the Clinton Foundation.
Approval by the State Department of the Uranium One deal, claiming no conflict of national security interests, followed shortly thereafter.
As he prepared to collect a $500,000 payday for the Moscow speech in 2010, Bill Clinton sought clearance from the State Department to meet with a key board director of the Russian nuclear energy firm Rosatom. At the time, Russian State owned Rosatom needed the Obama administration’s State Department approval for the controversial uranium deal as government records show.
As noted in an article from The Hill:
Arkady Dvorkovich, a top aide to then-Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and one of the highest-ranking government officials to serve on Rosatom’s board of supervisors, was listed on a May 14, 2010, email as one of 15 Russians the former president wanted to meet during a late June 2010 trip, the documents show.
The deal required approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), an intergovernmental panel represented by 14 departments and offices. CFIUS approves transactions and investments by foreign companies for national security purposes. In this case, CFIUS approval meant that control of 20 percent of U.S. uranium production would be shifting to the Russian-owned Rosatom’s control.
CFIUS approved the transaction in October 2010, reaching the curious conclusion that there was no national security concerns. Hillary Clinton has said she did not intervene in the matter but rather delegated the decision to a lower official, who said he got no pressure from the secretary on any CFIUS matters.
Makes sense, I mean after all, who would pay attention to what their boss wanted right? Duh!
Thanks to CFIUS, Rosateom ultimately acquired our uranium bearing land representing 20% of our uranium reserves. Land that they own today.
The fact that Bill Clinton actively sought meetings with high level Rosatom officials demonstrates an active interest and connection to the beneficiary of the Hillary Clinton State Department decision.
While Clinton interests concede they sought the meetings, they claim that no meetings actually took place with the Rosatom officials.
This, naturally begs this question:
Why were meetings with key officials of the firm that ultimately acquired our uranium bearing land desired by Bill Clinton in the first place?
Objective logic points to the reasons why, particularly based on the results and circumstantial evidence. Instead, Clinton allegedly met with Vladimir Putin at his private home. Love to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting for which no details have been provided.
For over a year now, Democrats and its sycophants in the media have been relentlessly pursuing the alleged Donald Trump-Russia collusion which they charge influenced our election results.
Hillary listed it as one of the biggest reasons she lost the election, along with sexism, racism, media collusion yada, yada, yada. However, to date, not a shred of evidence has held up to their intense drum beat of accusations and assumptions.
In the Uranium One case, the evidence is much more available. The results are present and active.
Where is the media and political outrage and scrutiny? Why are no pundits in the media, who doggedly pursue every remotely potential lead, completely ignoring and giving a free pass to Bill and Hillary on events that clearly have and continue to impact our national security interests?
Giving up 20% of our nation’s domestic Uranium stores to a nation they affirm is our enemy is quite obviously a present tangible threat to our national security. Most sensible citizens would have a problem with this result which could have a negative impact not only on this nation but upon others as well.
Our leadership is actively seeking to block North Korea and Iran from obtaining nuclear capacities, yet we turn a blind eye to what the Anti-Trump forces have championed as our biggest adversary who is tangibly controlling 20% of our domestic stores- an ongoing threat? Selective ignorance perchance?
The Clinton’s made some beneficial strides in acquiring wealth during the negotiation period. Hillary was in a highly influential position when this deal was approved by the State Department she led. There were some highly suspicious benefits to the Clinton Foundation which tracked back to Rosatom.
Bill Clinton’s $500,000 Moscow speech was given to Renaissance Capital, a Moscow based investment bank with ties to the Kremlin which represented Rosatom interests.
Other names beginning to surface in this growing story are Robert Mueller, FBI head at the time of the deal; current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and current Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.
More details on Uranium One are likely to follow now that the constant Anti-Trump Russian collusion drone has awakened interest in Russian collusion. Meanwhile, as can be expected from a highly biased, anti-conservative media, none of the liberal mainstream outlets are even bothering to cover the issue. This can of worms is one they obviously do not wish to open.
However, like it or not, this series of events involving the Clinton’s and other key players in the evidence-less Trump-Russia collusion accusations like Robert Mueller is now gaining legs. Perhaps, as the old adage goes, it is better to simply let sleeping dogs lie, particularly when you have very dangerous skeletons hanging in your own closet. Stay tuned on this one. It could be a bigger bombshell than Watergate by magnitudes of end results.
