Child-Abuse Charges Dropped Against New Mexico Jihadists Because the DA Missed the Court Deadline

New Mexico Child Abuse Dropped

One has to wonder if the fix is now in on this case of the five New Mexico jihadists who trained 11 children, discovered in starved condition, to carry out school shootings.

Child-abuse charges, which appeared rightful based on the discoveries, against three of the suspects were dropped because the district attorney missed the deadline to hold preliminary hearings. All 11 counts have been dropped because the state failed to indict them within a 10-day window.

The DA Didn’t Even Show Up

After Judge Sarah Backus recused herself from the case, probably because she received death threats with the way she handled the first hearing, District Judge Emilio Chavez was forced to drop the child abuse charges against 3 of the 5 arrested: Lucas Morton, Subhanna Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj, and release them from jail.

The state failed to indict them within a 10-day window, which forced the frustrated judge to admonish the DA for placing him in such a position.

The rule for dismissal without prejudice reads if the preliminary hearing is not held within the time of this rule, the court shall dismiss the case without prejudice and discharge the defendants,” Judge Emilio Chavez said.  The DA didn’t even show up for the hearing.

Another Taos County judge called out the DA for failing to even schedule a preliminary hearing in the case.

There was no excuse and no reason why the District Attorney’s office could not have requested these preliminary hearings. I don’t know if they are overworked or they don’t have enough people at their office. I don’t see the district attorney here or the chief deputy district attorney, but it is disturbing to me that the district attorney would put this court in that kind of a situation,” said Judge Jeff McCelroy

There are still charges against Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, son of Linda Sarsour’s radical mentor, (and Jany Leveille) for the death of his 3 year old son who will remain in jail until their hearing next week.

The DA’s office can re-file the child abuse charges at that time against all 5. It will be interesting to see if they actually do.

Other Strange Connections and Twists

  • The destruction of evidence at the crime scene without notice nor revelation of who actually did it.
  • The liberal judge releasing 4 of the 5 on signature bonds of $20,000 each which require no money at the first hearing claiming they were being targeted because they were “black and Muslim” (She was originally from San Francisco btw which may explain some of the disconnect here but not excuse it.)
  • The connection of the leftist darling Linda Sarsour to the radical Islamist father of the lead jihadist, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj who described his father (Siraj Wahhaj) as her mentor.

The father, Siraj Wahhaj, is an immam based in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. He is the leader of the Muslim Alliance of North America and was also named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings by the FBI.

Sarsour tweeted: Imam Siraj Wahhaj is Black American and most loved religious leader amongst diverse groups of Muslims, about her mentor. Wahhaj has preached that Muslims should view politics as “a weapon to use in the cause of Islam” and that the Constitution should be replaced by Islamic law (sharia) “l never tell people, ‘Don’t be violent.’ That’s not the Islamic way,” he said. Nice mentor Linda.

Speaking of Jihadists

A documentary Homegrown Jihad traced 35 secret terrorist camps located in the U.S. visiting all of them, shooting footage and conducting (or attempting to conduct) interviews with some of these camp leaders.  The group, called Jamaat ul-Fuqra or Muslims of America, is led by Sheikh Mubarak Gilani boasts of conducting “the most advanced training courses in Islamic military warfare.”

The U.S. government refuses to include the organization on the State Department’s list of foreign terrorists. Seems like this New Mexico group is now getting the same kid glove treatment. Are their traitors, like John Brennan, located within the deep state aiding these groups and Islam’s growth in our nation with the ultimate aim of destroying this nation? The treatment here and in the lack of attention to the Jihadi camps would appear to point in that direction. Watch the documentary below and make your own decision.
