Omar Offends the Public with Her 911 Remarks- Pelosi’s Response? Blame Donald Trump

Pelosi Defends Omar 911 Remarks

Nancy Pelosi is using Justice Democrat Ilhan Omar’s flippant characterization of 911 to support Omar and attack Donald Trump.

So, this anti-American, anti-Semetic, racist Muslim chick makes a glib remark about 911 “Some people, did something” which essentially downplays its meaning to many millions of Americans.

A normal person would think that a freshman Congresswoman overstepping her station would be reprimanded by the Party leadership. Particularly since her Party has spent much political capital reaping power from the event, for such a statement. The operative word there being “normal”

I suppose TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) makes everyone who has contracted this virulent disease quite far from normal.

No, the supposedly experienced and politically clever, Pelosi’s reaction is to defend Omar’s remarks first by beefing up security around her. On Sunday afternoon (4/14/19), Pelosi made a statement that:

Following the President’s tweet, I spoke with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff. They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces,

Ok, that in and of itself is not good and one could say perhaps even politically unwise, but Pelosi didn’t stop her stupidity there. No, TDS got the best of her yet again. She went on to say:

The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger.  President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.

Really Nancy? Now, it’s Donald Trump’s fault that your ungrateful little Muslim babe put her foot in her hateful little mouth once again?

BTW, do you really expect Donald Trump to remove this “disrespectful and dangerous” video?

How does this freshman’s remarks which obviously offended enough people for you to beef up security not get characterized as disrespectful and dangerous? Who was the one being disrespectful here I wonder?

Even your Assistant Speaker of the House, Ben Ray Lujan characterized Omar’s remarks as “extremely hurtfulon Thursday afternoon, but you think Donald Trump’s video was “disrespectful”?

To be fair to Omar here are her remarks at the March 2019 CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) statement in context:

For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it.

CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.

So you can’t just say that today someone is looking at me strange and that I am trying to make myself look pleasant. You have to say that this person is looking at me strange, I am not comfortable with it, and I am going to talk to them and ask them why. Because that is the right you have.

The context to me doesn’t change anything. The remarks were insensitive, particularly for a Congress woman squarely in the public eye. She needs to be reprimanded, not rewarded with Pelosi’s mother hen protection.

This freshman Congresswoman is a child of the political game. Like any child, unless she receives guidance, she will become a spoiled and petulant little twit. Looks like that has already happened.

Time for some discipline. You know, the old Proverbs Biblical suggestion of “spare the rod, spoil the child” should be used here, not the reinforcement of Omar’s insensitive ignorance.

Meanwhile, Pelosi’s response’s to this freshman lady I surmise, are driving people away from her Party.

Keep it up Nasty. My guess is that you are not hurting Donald Trump. You know this TDS disease is a terrible scourge that drives lefties completely batty it seems. Could portend well for 2020 methinks.
