Fiona Hill’s Anti-Trump Connections Explains Why She Was On the Witness List

By Terry | Council on Foreign Relations

Fiona Hill Testimony

After hearing Fiona Hill’s background, I wondered why she was even on the witness list. She wasn’t on the call. She didn’t attend any meetings. She didn’t even seem to know the background of important events. She provided no significant facts and got stuff flat-out wrong. What was she on the list for I wondered?

Perhaps this exchange with Republican Minority Chair, Devon Nunes, in which the names of Strobe Talbott and Christopher Steele come up provides some clues:

Who is Strobe Talbott?

Strobe Talbott is a long-time friend of the Clinton’s. He befriended Clinton when they were Rhodes Scholars in 1967-68. He worked in the Clinton cabinet in the 90’s. Until recently, he was the President of the left-leaning Brookings Institution and was Fiona Hill’s boss.

Strobe Talbott - Pres of Brookings Institution

Talbott seems to be sympathetic, rather than hostile to the Soviets. The former Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) operative Sergei Tretyakov said that SVR considered Talbott a source of intelligence information and classified him as “a special unofficial contact,” even though “he was not a Russian spy.”

He is also a big-time, one-world government globalist:

In fact, I’ll bet that within the next hundred years (I’m giving the world time for setbacks and myself time to be out of the betting game, just in case I lose this one), nationhood as we know it will be obsolete….In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all. – Time, July 20, 1992 = America Abroad: The Birth of a Global Nation

On top of this, he is quite obviously an Anti-Trumper:

We already know that the Kremlin helped put Trump into the White House and played him for a sucker…..Trump has been colluding with a hostile Russia throughout his presidency. – The Nation, Jan 16, 2019 – Its Already Collusion

So, why did Fiona Hill run to Talbot with her concerns about Trump’s Ukraine policy when she “thought something bad was going down on Ukrainian policy”? Did she want to enlist help in taking President Trump down perhaps knowing how much he hates Trump as well?

The Steele Dossier Connection

As will come out soon, the Steele Dossier was paid for through Fusion GPS with money from the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

The Steele Dossier was used as validation to the FISA court, to issue FISA warrants to initiate spying on Carter Page and Donald Trump during his campaign and early months in office.

Fiona Hill testified she received a copy of the Steele Dossier the day before it was posted by BuzzFeed from Strobe Talbott.

We know now that the report was completely fictional and used to disparage Donald Trump during the Presidential campaign. More on that issue will come out in the Horowitz IG Report to be released in early December.

She mentioned that she worked with Christopher Steele in 2016 but conveniently couldn’t remember when or specify what she worked with him on. Did she contribute to the dossier as well?

Hill Wanted to Stop Aid to Ukraine in 2015

Hill penned an op-ed in February 2105, during the Obama administration, entitled How Aiding the Ukrainian Military Could Push Putin Into a Regional War Hill wrote:

The United States is on a dangerous trajectory in its relations with Russia, a nuclear superpower that believes itself to be under direct threat. Several former U.S. officials and top think-tank experts released a report calling on the West to provide military support to Ukraine.

We strongly disagree. The evidence points in a different direction. If we follow the recommendations of this report, the Ukrainians won’t be the only ones caught in an escalating military conflict with Russia.

Since Georgia, Putin has prepared the Russian military to fight a regional war behind the ultimate shield of Russia’s nuclear arsenal. And he has spent a great deal of time and money telling his people that he is defending the Russian nation in Ukraine. His past actions suggest he will do everything he can to convince them that Russian military sacrifices in Ukraine are worth the cost. The delivery of lethal U.S. weapons to Ukraine would help Putin make that case. They will be part of the proof he needs.

Now, Hill is stressing the importance of providing military aid to Ukraine. Gee, I wonder if it has anything to do with disparaging Donald Trump and helping to get him impeached?

Hill is a Shill

The only reason this Brookings Institution think tank employee was there (posed as a non-political national security official) was to build more consensus for the impeachment of Donald Trump.

Her employer, Talbott, is firmly in the globalist camp which explains why he hates a nationalist like Donald Trump who is sabotaging his one-world government dream. At least, in the minds of globalists like them.

Hills background points in the same globalist direction which would account for her anti-Trump bias as well. In fact, most of our present Dems seem to be as well. At least their political solutions would appear to point in that direction.

Her resume also indicates that she is a member of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations from 2003 to the present, an organization funded into existence by the international financier banks (Rockefeller and J.P. Morgan) of the Federal Reserve cartel in 1921.

It also indicates that she was a member of the Central Eurasia Project Advisory Board, Open Society Institute, New York—2000-2006, a George Soros organization.

When that was brought up by a Democrat during the questioning, she dismissed opposition to Soros as anti-Semitic.

Hill really had little of substance to offer than more gasoline to throw on the Democrat’s impeachment fire.

She may, in fact, have simply provided water instead when all is said and done.
